While we wait for the new album to arrive, let us go about rating the songs we know, on a daily basis, and compile our own Morrissey/Smiths Top 100.

7: Good Moz/Smiths song

this is my FAVORITE Smiths song. I can't believe no one has commented yet.

I'm tired and I want to go bed........

10.

Its quite uncanny how Morrissey managed to capture the very essence of M.E. in this song!

I love this song. I especially love the line “Don’t feel bad for me” because leading up to that line that’s exactly what you are feeling. I also love the Auld Lang Syne music box effect at the end.

although i cant bear to listen to it that often, its so sad

I listened to this one day and sobbed for about an hour. Heartbreaking.

right, another thing..

I do too but I'd like to know, how do others interpret it? why auld lang syne? I don't really have a relationship with that song, the history etc.. or is it just because it fits?
it's a very beautiful effect anyway, kind of eerie..

9

wouldve given it a 10 a few years ago when iwas living it.

A 10....I don't listen to it that often...makes me really sad and depress.
