An unquestionable 10 in my eyes. Everything about this song is superb - lyrical content, melody, and yes even the video :p. One of Moz' best for sure.

It still endures after all these years. Lyrically every bit as good as our man has ever penned. Musically, a triumph. Majestic. Even the video was a magic moment, what with Moz clowning and camping it up in the desert with an apple in his mouth, a see-through blouse off the shoulder and a Band-Aid over his nip. All of the above is your recipe for a legend.

re.: your avatar - good work.

10. I remember seeing the vid for the first time, I was about 12-13 years old. I was soooooo embarrassed  Especially by him touching himself :D But I can live with it now!

Great lyrics, fantastic music, strong vocal delivery, a perfect 10.

I gave it an 8. Definitely appreciate this song's finer points, which are numerous, but I am so bloody sick of it, I could happily go the rest of my life without hearing it again.

I remember the impact that video had on me when it came out all those years ago. Beautiful and disturbing at the same time. Mary Margaret O'Haras vocals are extraterrestrial. The song left an eternal etch on my brain - it's simply beyond classic.

Love it, Love it, Love it. Utter brilliance. BIG FAT TEN. Who else could write a song like this? Great lyrics, great music, great video. This song has and always will stand the test of time.

I love the Earl's Court version. And his ad libs "But Jesus made me, so he should save me from pity, sympathy and idiots discussing me, ggrrrrYES I am a freak!.... AND "I am a symbol of where sex mad lovers must always draw the line". Then how he makes the revving car engine noises :) Sex-ay

The only problem I have with this song and it is my own fault is, I had the intro as my text message ring tone for months and now It makes me think of getting text messages so I marked it down for that.

but you mark it down, because of some thing you did:confused:

I like it, its a good single. i like the video. It would seem at one point, he gets sand in his ear. I suppose that happens a lot in death valley!

yes, that's right. I must not have explained it slowly or clearly enough, my fault again. I had it as a text message tone for months as a result I have been put off it, I do not like it as much as I once did. So once it would have been an 8 or 9 its a 6 or 7 now.

but you spoilt it for yourself....how dare you give it a low mark:p
