One of very few Morrissey/Smiths songs where I've heard a cover version which I think is better than the original.
It's by Cinerama (fronted by the singer from the Wedding Present).
They slowed the whole thing down and re-arranged it. Works really well. Check it out!

Everything about this is classic. The riff, the lyrics, and the performance. I especially love it on Rank.

Big place, nice to visit, wouldn't want to live there!!!

I digress; a 9 but it would be an 8 and a half if such an option were available. this was the first Smiths song I ever saw Morrissey sing live. Whcih baffled me a tad

This is one of my least favorite Smiths songs. I just find it musically and lyrically dull. In fact, it's so dull, I can't even think of anything to say about it! I give it a 6.

Most exciting element of this poll is that Lost must be coming up soon!
If there's a God, Lost will be voted into the top 10.
Although I guess, if there really was a God, we wouldn't all feel so lost!

I like this song very much, from that first guitar riff, it sounds as if someone has just kicked in your bedroom window!
The only problem I have with it is that it feels unfinished, I always want it to be a little longer, with more lyrics.

This song is meh. I hate the intro. Once it starts rockin it sounds pretty good. But the intro is unbearable. Dunno.
6.

It's okay, nothing special for me. I do like the beat and the energy tho-moreso than the actual lyrics. I give it a 5. "I think I've made the right decision this time" ;)

For some reason it sez I can't vote on a lot of these polls. WTF  Maybe it cuz of that cyber sex I had with Morrissey on the frink thread :D

I find it kind of blah!! It's fast and rockin, but I still find it boring most of the time and just don't care for it too much. The first time I heard it, I didn't find it amazing and not much has changed.6
