Beautiful and haunting - and very original. The whispered vocal is unique for Moz. I love it - 8

Haunting, misterious, achingly beautiful. Can't listen to it enough. And I love the whispering too :)

Ah, now I've recovered from Life Is A Pigsty we have Lifeguard Sleeping..., an excellent song! What a relief.. :p8 from me.

Yes, love the whispering too -anything else wouldn't have the same effect. I like the vocal treat. It's sexy and sinister at the same time. I think Moz needs to keep his women away from the beaches (see Rodando Beach ;-) Ha!
This song isn't the best, but unique in its own right. I give it a 7. I love when he says "Hoooooray" and I think the best line is "Please don't worry, there'll be no fuss, SHE WAS NOBODY'S NOTHING" ~~~ahhhh :o Such a great Morrissey quip.

At first I really didn't like it all....is growing and now I find it like others said unique and mysterious...and quite sexy.:D

A song of rare beauty - probably the most delicate song in the Morrissey canon. Morrissey's unique whispered vocal delivery is exquisite and the music is lush and gorgeous. I once said that if I were to record a version of any Morrissey song, this would be the one. Severely underrated... but not quite a classic. I give it a 9.

I was captivated by this song when I first heard it, Moz's voice is so alluring. It's one of my favourites off vauxhall. I say it deserves all of an 8.

An LP filler for me, i don't like whispering (it's rude :p)

Comtesse totally stole my review.

(only said it 1000 times better than I could've)

I gave it a 9, because it's so haunting.
