The Morrissey-solo Discussion Board Rules (Troll Revision) -- PLEASE CONTRIBUTE

As the present rules -- "Please be respectful towards one another when you post
and try to keep your topics/subjects relevant" -- are neither enforced nor respected, and fearing a further plunge into message-board anarchy, I propose a new, troll-friendly, set of regulations for this General Discussion forum. I will get the ball rolling with a few suggested guidelines under three general headings; ideally, these headings are to be multiplied and fractured into pertinent sub-heads... but enough for now, it's your turn.

God, I'm drunk right now.

* * *

a) User Names

*Please use multiple alias, even during a single session; the use of proxys is encouraged.

*Should you decide to ratify a single User Name through consistant usage, registration is verboten -- that's Ian's prerogative.

*Please be oblivious to minor alterations of a User Name (e.g. freeyourself. freeyourself . freeyouself etc.). It is the responsibility of the authentic User to disavow each and every counterfeit post.

b) Subject Matter

*While there can never be too many doctored pics of freeyourself, we ask that you limit yourself to relentlessly posting the same one. It is ALWAYS funny.

*Improved tracklists of Mozzer's albums are a hit... only, be sure to test the limits of chronology; Ordinary Boys would sound great on YATQ, huh?

*No one is allowed to remark the irony of those accusing others of not having a life or "being online 24/7".

*The NME is to be reviled at every opportunity, not least for media ego: the overweening influence upon popular music, the coddling and promotion of brit-pop's latest darlings, the tabloid-style coverage etc. Meanwhile, don't forget to start innumerable threads waxing hot over The Strokes, Franz Ferdinard, The Killers, and Babyshambles; and let's all proclaim The Arctic Monkeys as The Second Coming, together, in orgiastic unison. Oh, and please, we can never read enough scandel and intimate esoterica about Pete Doherty... and Noel Gallagher's opinions about anything and everything REALLY MATTER.

*Don't bother scanning newsworthy articles, just wait for Uncle Skinny to do it -- and then let's all crack jokes about his equipment and laugh at him.

c) Individual Users

*Morrissey Music émigrés are to be discouraged from participation at any cost.

*Never ask why Ian affects alternate ips, while never bothering to conceal his identity. He just does.

*Wally the Baboon posts are off-limits and immune from moderation.

*Never respond to mauve21 posts; all threads wither and die through her contribution.

*Suzanne: The Anti-MorrisseySolo, pure evil; devoid of wit with nary a sane or interesting observation. She hates Moz and should be ruthlessly trolled. I would say more but I still hope to be a kept man someday.

*Belligerent Ghoul is the most important personage to ever grace this site... 'nuff said.

Always totally ignore or insult Codreanu who is a self- congratulatory overblown, boozy, impersonator of a fish's bottom. Goodbyne!

Great! You're getting the idea.

Anyone else care to join Mauve and I in CODifying the status quo?

Actually you really made me laugh, especially that bit about people "mocking my equipment". Excellent. A writer's career beckons. That's if you're not a writer by profession now.

Best Wishes,

Sk./Peter

Re: The vile ginger Morrissey-solo scum Discussion Board Rules c***s (Troll Revision)

Rule numero uno should be: use the words "vile", "ginger", "scum" and "c***" as often as possible... and if possible altogether in just one sentence. And NEVER start a topic without using at least one of them.

Broken

Anything to stop broken removing posts would be ideal....

Benton

Or Benton

Re: Benton

benton or broken, you will never be fixed.

Strawberry.

Re: Benton

I cannot remove posts, I've never been able to remove posts, I've no interest in being able to remove posts.

One Rule: All ass-sucking-retardo-c***-Moz-haterz f*** off to the Oasis board!

Serious Point To Make

I believe that, as usual, through humour, a serious subject has been brought up.

I visit this board most days and 99% of the time I will not contribute as so much of the contect decends into childish playground humour within seconds.

If the board was categorised it would be a much more useful place to be; we could have a section for links/downloads, a section for song-specific discussions and then a "playground" section for all the bores who take amusement from all of the things Codreanu mentions above.

Just a dream I know and I'm probably talking to the wrong person here but how could we make this happen?

Eitherway, can we all just up our intellectual content by about 20% to keep this site and the board as fresh and pleasant as erm, a fresh and pleasant thing?

Thanks, I'll go back to work now.
Martin.
