For the past 10 months I have been enlightened. Last Christmas I got Sirius Satellite radio...and I found a station (#22) called First Wave. They play classic alternative rock from the 80's. I grew up in the 80's but amazingly I somehow missed out on the Smiths and then Morrissey's solo work. MTV (when they actually played music) introduced me to the likes of Billy Idol, Duran Duran, Ultravox, Spandau Ballet, etc. But never the Smiths. They didn't get any local air play on the radio...what new wave group did? Thanks to First Wave I now hear The Smiths/Morrissey daily....and I love it. I have seen the light!!! I guess it's better late than never. I am jealous of everyone who actually followed The Smiths when they were together....and Morrissey when he went solo. But I am a fan now and look forward to continued solo work from Morrissey and listening to more and more of his and The Smiths classic work. Very enjoyable website, take care, Mark
