The Manic Street Preachers

i love what theyve done since richey but jfpl is just sublime. i missed them when they came around but you know what? i dont think i could watch them live. the music is too good. christ where do i start? masking tape, bored out of my mind, yes, faster, etc etc. i never thought a band could affect me like this one did. the best.

'This Is Yesterday' still gives me goosebumps.

I wouldn't say they're the best band on the planet but I dig some of their stuff.

My favourite songs are;

The Masses Against The Classes
Everything Must Go
If You Tolerate This
You're Love Alone Is Not Enough
Australia

Autumn Song is greatness

Yes, but around the time of "Gold Against the Soul". I'd rather whip myself than listen to anything after "Everything Must Go".

Lifeblood? naaaah.

I actually love "Lifeblood". :o "1985" namechecks Morrissey, trivia fans. :thumb:

Great song from "Lifeblood".

But this is possibly my all-time favorite Manics song..

I recall them on tele doing "Motown Junk" ..Thought it was very pretentious. I do like a good few of their song's and even saw them live..

Beautiful, harrowing lyrics mind.
