The Ice Hockey thread (Sweden world champions 2013)

Thought we needed a thread about hockey as well. Sweden won the world cup held in Sweden by beating Switzerland 5-1 in the final. The two met in the opening game of the world cup when the swiss beat Sweden but in the final Sweden beat the convincingly after the swiss took an early lead.

The World cup gold is Sweden's 9th through history and only the second time the hosts win it. Russia or Soviet won at home 27 years ago. Here the captain Staffan Kronwall lifts the world cup trophy on Sunday night:
