The dreadful state of UK ticket sales

I recently wrote a brief exploration of how drastically Morrissey's ticket sale figures have plummeted in the UK, with special attention given to the startlingly low sales for the upcoming Leeds gig.

With two weeks to go until the show, huge quantities of seats remain unsold in some of the best blocks in the venue while standing floor tickets also remain.

Several weeks after tickets going on sale neither of the 2 venues have not sold out. Fact!
He has, as you say, never done 'hit' shows so whatever point you were attempting to make falls flat. Fact!
Few of his recent North American shows sold out. Fact!
Paris and Cologne: not sold out. Fact!
"He played only small-sized venues during the Boxers-tour". He played large venues. None can realiably be described as small. Fact!

Aston Villa Leisure Centre 4,000
Barrowlands 1,900
Usher Hall 2,200
Portsmouth 2,500
Sheffield City Hall 2,271

These are not arena numbers but let's be clear Leeds has 13 sections blocked off and has in excess of 1,000 tickets to sell.

The original poster was correct in his assertions. For reasons known only to yourself you attempted to distract with inaccurate information.

The arena in Leeds has almost a capacity of almost 14,000. Has Morrissey ever played in such a huge arena? I doubt it. So the fact there are still plenty of seats available doesn't surprise me in the slightest. So why does it surprise you?

I examined and analyzed the stupid coloured dots and hardly any tix had been sold for any of the shows thus total cancellation.?
