We all know the ties between The Cult and both Morrissey and Marr. I’m really liking their new record because while not overtly retro, it does have many of the stylings both with Billy’s guitar and Ian’s voice of the first two records. I love it. I doubt Ian or Billy would be able to create something like this on their own. It does make me wish Morrissey and Marr would give it a go. Anyway, give The Cults new one a spin.
