Another statement from Morrissey on Gustavo's page saying how the single didn't chart in the top 10 because the record companies lack of promotion.

Amazing considering it has 70 million plays on Spotify. And only 200K in de UK?
It must be platinum in a lot of other countries then ;)

In the UK, they count 150 streams as equivalent to one sale.

Could not find the demo version in Spotify. Just these 4: TQID, LIVE IN ENGLAND, TSOTS and Rank.

The 'OfficialCharts.com' (not the magazine subscription service linked to above) estimates you need to sell between 7500-8000 to make top 40 and the average sales to make number one are 100,000 - 110,000 (2013/14 averages).
With 5000 UK ltd copies only and no digital release to boost sales plus not being sold by all chart reporting retailers...
How exactly does debuting at number 172 have any relevance whatsoever? It was destined never to do 'well' in a chart context.
      Regards,
      FWD.

because there is nothing interesting about a demo of a song everyone has heard a thousand times. What exactly are we suppose to light up the message boards over?

Even with a demo version, you're still #1 on the Turkey charts Moz. Here's to ya!
