Hey,

This is probably only relevant to ballet fans or Glaswegians, but, Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake is coming to Glasgow's Theatre Royal again in September. Fantastic dancing and an amazing score (Tchaikovsky : David Lloyd-Jones; New London Orchestra). Advised to buy tickets for stalls quickly as it will sell out fast.:p

27 September - 2 October
Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake
Theatre Royal, Glasgow.

This is seriously well worth seeing - if only for a different interpretation of a classic and timeless story:thumb:
Anybody who wants more info on this can PM me.

PS: It's touring the country right now, but i didn't want to list other performances. You can find out more at: http://www.swanlaketour.com/

Hey Nats

Tickets aren't on sale for a few days yet.
This is, in my opinion, the greatest re-interpretation of swan lake EVER made. I've seen it dozens of times and will continue to see it for as long as i can... it's great, but it really shows up most other ballet productions as rather lacking in initiative and inspiration. :(

You could view it on DVD before you see it live - i'd highly recommend viewing it first so that you know what the plot is etc - it's not a traditional telling of the story. The corps de ballet are all male swans and the prince falls for his private secretary's son - very controversial when it first aired!!!:blushing: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Matthew-Bourne-Collection-DVD/dp/B001EM1E3K/ref=pd_cp_d_h__0

You can get tickets through Ambassador Tickets: http://www.ambassadortickets.com/8/654/Theatre-Royal-

Are you in Glasgow - it'll probably play Edinburgh if that's any better for you.

Let me know if you go - PM me and we could arrange to meet for an orange juice during the interval:thumb:

Cheers Nats:D
