Hiya - long time no speak. Hope you're well x.

Talk Talk's great as an intro to them.

i've always had problems with 'Life's what you make it' as I don't agree with the sentiment but hey it's a great piano riff.

Exhausted and on the brink of collapse after my recording session,

Dazza xx

I love them, especially the run of albums from It's My Life on. Though I have to be in the right mood for Spirit of Eden.

It's a great *lose yourself in it* song for me.

I did forget to say It's My Life is AWESOME! Even love the No Doubt version :)

TT takes me back to early MTV days, I ate that shit up ;P And thanks, I am well.

Yaaaaaaaay, finally!

Such a Shame - forever! It has been a favourite since my childhood....
It's My Life - and I even like No Doubt's version of it
Talk Talk

Living in Another World
Time it's Time
Desire (Spirit of Eden)
All of Laughing Stock

The album art is brilliant too.
:)

They're great - such a gift for luscious harmonics. Funny, they don't seem to get much respect.

cheers

Guy Garvey of Elbow mentioned Talk Talk on the South Bank Show..

How the space in their recording's influenced them.

I havn't seen that interview.
It's hard for me to explain to people, but the space, the way it's put together, the interweaving of the instruments and melodies is amazing. :):)

Music I could never get tired of.

That's very well explained actually - that's just it.

cheers

Absolutely adore both Spirt of Eden and Laughing Stock. I can also highly recommend the solo album from Mark Hollis simply titled Mark Hollis - classic stuff.
