Talk Talk's great as an intro to them.

i've always had problems with 'Life's what you make it' as I don't agree with the sentiment but hey it's a great piano riff.

I havn't seen that interview.
It's hard for me to explain to people, but the space, the way it's put together, the interweaving of the instruments and melodies is amazing.

Absolutely adore both Spirt of Eden and Laughing Stock. I can also highly recommend the solo album from Mark Hollis simply titled Mark Hollis - classic stuff.
