Yess! They look very lovely as Britain's Bird! Well....Blue Tits and Robins are much more appealling to myself, but Swans are OK!
Besides we can then write a book called "The Mysterious Swan Mystery"

31 swans shot in Wiltshire. I hope they catch the sick, soulless excuse for a human who did it.
Someone poisoned a beautiful white swan in my neighborhood a couple years ago. I don't know what motivates someone to kill a harmless creature who is known for its beauty and grace.
