I actually enjoy reading the threads in the Pigsty, though I have yet to post in there. Perhaps, one day, I will. I think that if there was any stigma at all about posting in the 'Sty when it first began, that stigma has all but gone. There are many intelligent, interesting, and fun members who regularly post in there now.

Also--one thing that I've noticed is that Off-Topic has become more...calm might be the right word, or perhaps mellow. It looks like Off-Topic is now in a transitional phase, trying to discover its new identity and purpose in a world with the Pigsty.

Anyhoo, long story short, I voted to keep the 'Sty.

It's boring, in my opinion, when people simply attempt to be shocking or outrageous. But it's nice to have a place where there are less restrictions, and I am 100% for the Pigsty, for those of you that are afraid to post at solow, where there apparently are no restrictions, for real.

For what it's worth I voted "It doesn't add positive vibe to the forums, scrap it"

99.9% of the internet is utter drivel (there was a piece on the news the other day that said the online genealogy was now the third most popular internet pastime behind porn and shopping ) so there are plenty of other places that the pigsty could live itwill be in good company.
