i think these two songs are incredible for unreleased tracks. i don't see why morrissey was so down on strip tease. i think that song would be the perfect tune for the black heart procession to cover. it fits in with their sound quite nicely.

born to hang is so energetic and danceable. not to mention his stellar vocal performance.

Born To Hang has great oomph, but Striptease is weak. I love Oh Phoney. Great comical lyrics.

I wish The Black Heart Procession would cover THEMSELVES, instead of releasing stylistic abominations like their last full length (Amore del Tropico.)

Not that it was really THAT bad, but it is a far cry from 1, 2, or 3.

Striptease always makes me smile. Some of the lines at the start are a bit clumsy, but otherwise it's a great tune.

"Have you ever met a poor winner? Well how do you do?" Cheeky!

Speaking of "Striptease" does anyone remember the Striptease hoax before the song was released on soulseek about 3 or 4 years ago with the stripping music and the moo of a cow in the song?
