I dont reallly collect the smiths chosing to mostly collect morrissey but have recently started picking up smiths stuff

I got copy of strangeways on rough trade , CD106 - the disc seems to be gold , is this the standard colour for the disc ?

you can pick them up fairly cheaply on ebay to be honest as i normally focus on morrissey but im down to finding promos which dont come up everyday i thought it would be a good idea to beef up my smiths collection , for some reason i have only really recently got into CD collecting outwith the normal releases

I was told the first run utilized CDV discs, which like Strangeways also debuted in 1987.
