Strange/unexpected Moz references?

I've never heard of Sophie Lloyd, but from her photo she looks like a very pleasant young lady.

Anyway, here's an article from Guitar World in which she picks her 10 favourite albums, pretty much all metal stuff except for:

“Morrissey is one of greatest songwriters ever, especially when combined with Johnny Marr’s guitar playing. What an incredible mix. The album [Rank] takes you on a journey of raw emotion.”

"A real bobby-dazzler".

I hope this fits with the "Strange/Unexpected" title of this thread:

A mention of Morrissey in an article about cheese fondue.

(To save you having to click through to the fondue: "But just as with Morrissey records, sometimes you cannot explain why you love what you love, and cheese fondue is a hit at almost any gathering. It’s perfect for two—in a way that can be shockingly sexy for lactose—and completely platonic when shared with friends around a fire. It’s an easy hit for dinner parties, and even at an actual shindig, a simple cheese fondue setup will become an obvious gathering spot.")

Seeing anything Smiths / Jarman-related is quite rare.

I don't know whether this is true - but I've heard that Moz thought the Derek Jarman videos were too good and eclipsed the music. Of course, such sentiments about the music video generally were definitely said by Moz when music videos were becoming popular and MTV was born. Apparently after watching the Jarman trio of films, Moz said something along the lines of - well, after The Smiths are no more, at least people will say that Derek Jarman did our videos.
The source? A friend of mine knew Derek Jarman, and Jarman himself told the story. It could have just been Derek bragging. All third hand, so who knows whether it is true.

Without fondue the world dies...

besides Ask, the videos are great. Though it may have been Derek bragging, I don’t think he had a very high opinion of The Smiths music.
