Soppy poems for Morrissey......

Long time participant
Well, this is one I wrote about six years ago, that I just found
the other day while sorting through some stuff.
I know it's pretty mushy. But I thought it would be nice to hear
other people's poems particularly about Mr. M, of course I know you've got them!

Come Hither.....

Then how shall I describe thee my love until I find thee,
with a voice soft but deep and your lips full and soft.
The lustre of your hair, your long pale neck, your slender strong
body....
Arms muscular, but not wiry.
The dark hairs on the backs of your arms contrasting with the soft
milky white flesh...
Eyes as blue as a summer sky.....
and your heart as full as my longing for thee.
But yet shall I make thee my grail
and opportunity shall come to both of us.
I shall treasure and hoard thy sensuous pleasure in my thoughts
until I have the chance to devour and ingratiate your beautiful form,
but only to take this longing from me
and allow it to smoulder in your hearth
I will surely satiate thee in tempestuous fulfilment.
Then take thy sumptuous supper upon my bare flesh
and never regret a promise upon which you never slept........

Oh I like it, except for the "thee and thy" thing. But I like the rest, a lot.

Don't have anything of my own to share though.

nice poem!
i especially liked this line:

until I have the chance to devour and ingratiate your beautiful form

here are a few things i wrote about him- they were inspired by him for sure anyway, i guess they're about him in more of an abstract way:

#1
And when I'm sleeping softly
up in my royal bed
I am dreaming of your breathing
and the flowers around your head;
the dances in your light eyes
and the dances in my heart
You turned to change the record,
and we somehow fell apart.

-----

#2
Steven, the distance of
my fingers to your face, it grows closer
as hairs grow gray and tongues
stagnate. You are the bookshelf
in me; twenty years on, you are still
the teenager writing on the glass
In the corner with your books

------

#3
No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.

Say you'll love me ev'ry waking moment;
turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
promise me that all you say is true,
that's all I ask of you.

Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light;
you're safe, no one will find you,
your fears are far behind you.

All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night;
and you, always beside me,
to hold me and to hide me.

Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from you solitude.
Say you need me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you.

Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.
Say the word and I will follow you.

Share each day with me, each night, each morning.

Say you love me...

You know I do.

Together
Love me, that's all I ask of you.

Anywhere you go let me go too

Love me...
that's all I ask of you.

Beautiful, up to point of making smile and crying.

"You are the bookshelf

Oh, that is truly beautiful......:)

This is one I wrote it's silly..

When ambushed in the underpass

or chased along platforms

I won't be such a scaredy cat

with your words protecting

and faling louder than bombs..

That one is great too, although I guess it's more tongue in cheek
than arousing.....

Good one. :rolleyes: Wait, it's bad that I got that, isn't it? Not my fault. I didn't buy the tickets.
