cant be paris its eight letters.

Oh come on you Smithlovers of the world, unite and let's solve it!
Where are you all? Not in MEN Arena but at home.
Let's show at Solow our braincell's still work, never mind they get older.
My contribution is Alain or Delon on 20 across.
Now what about 16 down?
Gerrit

22 across might be: stanley?
I am not good at cryptics so this is a tough one for me.
But it can be a joy to try and solve it.
Where is our pride here at solow?
Let's make it a nice thread!
Gerrit

cryptic crosswords are not like regular crosswords, c-lo. also, im a crossword prodigy so if i cant do this one, you definitely cant.

I've never heard of a cryptic crossword. What's the difference

i think 12 across is raucously. 6 down may or may not be afro

i hate these things. the only reason i do them at all is to put in his place the gross old guy at work who had the nerve to give me lottery tickets.

27 down might be "work" (is a four-letter word, nothing more so meaning nothing and missing on "Strangeways?)
Hi Rifke, you ARE good at this but are to impatient maybe?
Cheers
Gerrit

sorry, but it's sunday and i've got nothing better to do :(

now, im wondering if 3 and 4 is thirty-somethings. seems too obvious, but 'trying the smiths o" has all of the letters
also wondering if 9 across is photoshop, which might be a stretch, but would work for picture package, plus stolen (hot) inserted into post =photos and outlet=shop? (does it? what the f*** is an outlet?) i dont know... anyway.

wouldnt that be embarrassing if i got these all wrong? i'd never be able to show my face around here again. just kidding. as if.
