Don't Rake Up My Mistakes
hi,
I'm after the last show the Smiths did, is this the show that became Rank?

I'd like the full show, since rank is just the tracks Moz chose. I heard there are a few versions of it, anyone know which is the best quality? And in the correct order if possible! And where I could acquire it!

Many thanks

matt

Rank is from the show on 23 October 1986 at the National Ballroom, Kilburn. Details here: http://www.passionsjustlikemine.com/gigs/smiths-gi8610uk.htm

Their last gig was on 12 December 1986 at Brixton Academy, London.

If you use the search function here, I'm sure you'll come across both of these recordings.

Hi Matt..

The 'last' show that The Smiths did was from The Brixton Academy - 12 December 1986 - The 'Rank' gig was from The National Ballroom, Kilburn 23 October 1986...there are numerous bootlegs of this gig - Unruly Girl, Higher Rank, etc..
I have an 'official' Factory pressed bootleg Cd from Brixton - 'The Final Gig' - (badly scratched!).. it has the full 15 tracks, but is just an audience recording - the sound quality is only fair.
The Smiths played 'Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others' live for the only time that night.. you can get this track in top quality on the 1992 released Warner Cd 'There Is a Light That Never Goes Out' (YZ0003CD1)

Cheers
Mick
