I think this might be the real issue, and might be part of the reason that some people want to brush it aside. However, if this is true, it is not shameful, just personal. I'm afraid that some people want to "protect" Morrissey too much and this, I feel, is insulting to him. He is not quite that vulnerable, in my opinion.
It's funny that the issue of mental health hovers around this thread, and the ways that it is used.

Moz has alot of mental health issues, see something is squeezing my skull. Sometimes he can face it, others he can not, much like most of us.
