If you are in London town to-night, there is a screening of 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner' at NFT1, preceeded by a panel discussion on Woodfall films {producers of 'A Taste Of Honey' & 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning', amongst many others}. The panel includes Rita Tushingham, Sir Tom Courtenay and Joely Richardson. So, basically, a f***ing great night out. í bought my tickets a month ago, but am too skint to make it down/up from the North {irony?}...
