Viajando desde Mexicali para ver a Morrissey.... Misión Cumplida!!!
Grande Verlo en La Ciudad de México, Puebla, Miunich, San Diego!!!

MORRISSEY took the stage covering the first line of Lesley Gore's, "It's My Party" - its my party and I'll cry if I want to-

Fantastic show! Morrissey sounded great and really connected with the crowd. He accepted gifts, read a poem a fan wrote for him, threw his shirt in the crowd. A few stage invasions and a lot of attempts. Koodos to the lucky ones who made it on stage! Boz was in Drag! I have been to many shows and this was one of the best ones ever!!! Morrissey really does feed of the crowds energy! Viva Moz

That was actaully from a Ramones song. But still cool.

Anybody catch what happened at the back of the floor. Some guy fell over and he had to wheeled off by a medical team. I think he may have split his head open. Or it could have been beer that security mopped up. There was also some really drunk guy that had to get escorted out earlier in the show.

I'm surprised no one has commented about how fantastic Boz looked! I wonder if that was Morrissey's birthday wish?

He's actually been dressing in drag for quite a few shows now. I'm not sure why, but surely someone on here does.

Also nice to hear him acknowledge the site of the first American solo show back in 1991.

I've seen Morrissey twice before this show, and both shows were GA floor tickets. For this show me and a friend weren't as lucky (we're broke ha-ha) and ended up with seats in the upper terrace. They weren't horrible but a totally different experience. His voice sounded amazing and the band sounded better from when I saw them at the Fox theater. The only thing was when he would speak between songs you could barely make out what he was saying. I think he could of picked a better venue. All in all a good show, now the long wait til he comes back again. Viva Moz!

To make a point that 'Some girls are bigger than others' and the relentless portrayal of the media that women have to be stick insects to be sexy?

last year in vegas got a chunk off the shirt ...yesterday blessed him with my handshake.. great set..saw a handful of good old friends .. now to put my pillow case endurance to the test .. breaking an entry and robbery in style ...

The show was great. The band was awesome. The sound was crisp and clear. Morrissey's voice warmed up as the night progressed and I thought the song list was apropo to the event at hand. Please, Please, Please, Let me get what I want this time......

Oscar? Beyond the gender? Patty Smith?
But please not for Boz!
I love his music, quite cool!
If you want to make up, please wear it for yourself, Moz.
Still doesn't make sence, for because that's not Boz wants to.
I'm afraid I'm getting used to it and watch it's cute to react to the audience.
But I hope to be back to normal!

Amazing show, great energy from where I sat. Calm but everyone into it and singing along. There was a half hearted attempt to sing happy birthday between the show and the encore while he wasn't even onstage. :p there just wasn't ever a long enough pause, I think we were anticipating hearing what he had to say between songs and didn't want to disrupt that. The band was tight and Moz's voice perfect. Some of the banter included declaring that the audience was free, as in free to fly I assume. Also he said he's been following the election and told us not to vote. (Don't listen to him. Vote for BARrack. Kthx.) he also said that when we were safe at home in bed and our hands under the covers to think of him. He made reference to St Rita and how she's the patron saint of lost causes and guides him. If there's YouTube footage of that it is cute as hell because he was all tongue tied and sweet. I'm sorry I can't remember the song it was before. He did pay homage to Robin Gibb before MIM which was awesome. Some strange lyric changes in Please, Please, Please. Something about YouTube, I couldn't hear it. Also couldn't read what the bands shirts said if anyone caught that. He only through one shirt to the crowd during LMKY. I did see a dude leave on a stretcher in the back. That guy whose neck everyone thought was snapped somehow came from backstage, I saw the whole thing, kind of freaky because it caught security off guard which might explain why they were harsh. The parking lot crowd was delightful. If I were a stoner I could've been so high last night, three different offers to smoke out. :D it was a fantastic party. Except driving away, I always get massive seoeration anxiety and sadness, and a two hour drive alone is no fun, but after that wore off my memory of the night was that it was fantastic and Morrissey seemed to have an awesome time. I was honored to be a part of it.
