Re: Sam Esty Raynor asking for disgrunted Morrissey fans to send 'Get Well' cards to Capitol boss Steve Barnett

Oops - should be spelled 'Rayner'. Regardless, are we supposed to feel sorry for ('Bring me the head of') Elton John as well, now?

Sammy you prick ! Be brave and say confirmed instead of "rumoured "

Thankyou so much Steve Barnett, you have saved us ! Tony Visconti, Tony Wilson, Kristeen Young, David Bowie
Stick to what your good at Sammy you thick twat ! Walls and buses !

When you get a minute from copying and pasting your "art" tell Uncle Steve that David Bowie has died and the next career move is his !

Also is this even true? I think there's a creepy Sam Stalker on solo for some reason. Why not link to his facebook page?

Here is Sam's facebook page for those thinking it's fake - it's currently a couple of posts down, and set to 'public' view: https://www.facebook.com/samphotog

Despite supposedly being turned down by Capitol - David Bowie (RIP) released a new studio album via his own label a few days ago; Elton John has a new studio album out next month on...errr. Capital/Mercury, and Morrissey has no album out, but is sitting at home blaming the rest of the world for his woes.

I presume the photo of Steve Barnett is included as Moz hopes some of his more deluded fans will punch him if they see him out for a stroll. I really can't think why else it is there.

why does moz has to use Sam or his bandmates to say stuff? is pretty obvious morrissey is behind this and also is weird that many of his fans consider him brave, because this is a thing a coward person would do tbh

So embarrassing. :( Don't do this, revenge is very unproductive and there's nothing "world peace" about these actions, just slow joe.

If Barnett will sign this crap and reject Morrissey and David Bowie then, I agree, he's not well.

      I think it's kinda funny.

Duh, this guy is the head of a business - of course he's mainly interested in financial success, not art. Anyway, one interesting point I picked up in that article: "Barnett was a talent manager for AC/DC, Cyndi Lauper and other acts, and most recently spent three years running Columbia, where he presided over runaway successes of British soul singer-songwriter Adele..."

OK - now Morrissey's 360 degree about turn on Adele suddenly makes sense! Before he fell out with Barnett, he was all in favour of her, as it was 'all about the voice'. Now, of course, he has to say he hates her and says she's just hype.

Why would this happen.? Anything from Morrissey or related to Morrissey at this time should be focused on Bowie. Morrissey fans want this. It would be the best written tribute to Bowie I bet

This is embarrassing, and to add David Bowie for "added effect" is in really bad taste. I liked World Peace, but this "stunt" is really childish, and Sam's remarks in the comments of the Facebook post made him seem really deluded and lacking self-awareness. I doubt the rumors are true even. It doesn't accomplish anything.

At least this post is open to comments. Don't know how long though. All of that doesn't make sense to me. There are enough sane people around M. Why does nobody jump in? Why doesn't M take advantage of creative forces around him? Linder Sterling is an artist. Her son Maxwell Sterling is a music composer. Jake Walters is a photographer. Tina Dehghani isn't bad with the camera too. He didn't go to TV shows of friends. I'm sure there are many more examples. And if the people around him are genuinely that angry then there must be more to the story.

They should hire you to spread art to the world. You probably wouldn't last a day before you found your ass kicked onto the sidewalk and a copy of WPINOYB flung at your numb skull.

Morrissey and all associated with him can continue jerking one another off and thinking they're clever.
What a lame, lame has been he's become in recent years, made only more obvious by the events of this week.

Art is dead, and Morrissey is not, and will not be counted among the immortals.
