Smiths cover should be outlawed. It's no fault of any singer in particular. It's just that these songs sound wrong sung by anyone else other than Morrissey himself.

I don't have many Smiths covers in my library because they're not usually that appealing--as is the case with this one. I have The Lucksmiths' cover of this song; it's a faithful version but with a twist since it's a duet with a female voice.

It's chancy to visit forums where you're the topic of conversation. I've stumbled into forums where my work was being roundly praised and onto others where the folks were asking why I had so much free time and devoting it to that endeavor. Qué será.
