SALFORD LAD’S CLUB Pop Up MPORIUM Store NOW OPEN! - Morrissey Official / Facebook

Morrissey’s pop up Mporium store is now open at the legendary Salford Lad’s Club purveying a variety of new designs, accessories, SIGNED Bona Drag vinyl bundles and SIGNED HARDBACK autobiography bundles sold on a first come first serve basis.

If you’re not able to make it to the shop the Mporium store is open all year round and to celebrate we’re giving away a limited edition Morrissey Harrington jacket to one lucky winner!

You're quite right. I just assumed it'd be a T Shirt with album cover pic on it. My mistake.

You can get the album for just under 20 pounds but I guess it'd be nice to have a signed one. It's just not a great shirt. What does the salford lads club have to do with Morrissey's solo career?

The whole thing has been rather strange for quite a while now, because in 2009 he kept saying "The Past is not me", "The past is not me", "The past is not me", "The past is not me", etc. like a broken record. And since then he has been constantly referring back to his past. Sorry, but the past is really not him, because today's Morrissey couldn't be any further from his past, but it sells of course, to younger people, to those who haven't made the shift to the persent one, etc. Money, money, money, money.

I associate with the Salford Lads Club an American and a Brit jump on a taxi at the Stars & Garter when the second Morrissey bus tour wouldn't happen after all, so that the American would get to see the Salford Lads Club without it ever crossing their mind to ask those around them if they want to go as well. "Where are they going?" "Salford Lads Club." "Aha...."

I will also never ever forget the mischievious faces of those who were on the first bus of that Morrissey bus tour, people who make it very public that they go to many of those Morrissey concert. I found it rather odd that they'd even BE so mischievious. This isn't just the internet here this IS what it is all like in reality as well.
