Rough Trade Confident of Re-signing The Smiths

After a late night supper of tea and cheese on toast I fell asleep on the sofa, latter that night a source close to Geoff Travis (ex. Rough trade supremo) came to me in a vision and confirmed that The Smiths were reforming, and that Rough Trade had first option on the record deal due to some clause in the original contract.

Apparently they want to play my front room for their first gig and if it goes well tour around September!

Latter that night I distinctly remember being chased by an office block and having my feet clamped as I argued with a traffic warden.

ha ha trouble is Reg, due to your quite obvious and predictable late night cheese rush it was actually "Morrissey and er Lemar" the new R&B sensation that were being touted by Rough Trade's old mogul Geoff Travis, sadly that was your so called apparent vision. Oh yes and btw you were really being chased past some old Victorian back to back houses and ended up argueing with a really pissed "Mr Motivator" (the old lycra clad GMTV fitness guru) who's now found salvation in those delightful bottles of blue WKD...thus you ended up pulling up with cramp as you made your quick escape. Sorry to piss on your parade but the only "clause" in the old Smith's contract is about as real as the "Claus" after "Santa"....life eh!
