Looks a good night. The Manchester Albert Hall is a great venue. But frankly quite a few of the Smiths tribute bands are just as good.....

The true light that never goes out was actually just down the road watching Echobelly.

too bad these folks missed out.

VIVA MOZ !!!!

Last of the famous international screw ups.
I sincerely hope that Moz offers Rick a slot as his support act when he next goes out on the road. Epic times.

Surface

Chilling in Cheshire.
Gotta to say Blossoms have delivered the musical elements really well, Ricks voice is a lot deeper than Morrissey's but it works and at the end of the day Ricks fulfilled his ambition of playing a Smiths set. He played 18 Smiths songs which is pretty good going!

Hearing all these songs only makes you realise how many great tunes Morrissey leave son the shelf when he plays live. Rick's voice sounds strong and more importantly his hair looks great. Should my suggestion of a support slot not work maybe he could join Moz onstage for an update of this duet with another Stock, Aiken and Waterman alum......................

Ah, they should have thrown something good in like Paris or Munich Air Disaster 1958.

maybe next time.

Looking at the setlist, doesn’t seem Strangeways is Rick’s favorite album.

Pete Burns, Rick Astley will never be. Unfortunately.

Rick appearing with Morrissey would be too much milking the novelty.
