Revisiting old post on Morrissey's height

I am connected with Mike Joyce on Facebook. He invites me to his DJ shows in Manchester, but I live in the U.S.

It's really him. So I asked him via a Facebook message: "On a Morrissey fan site, there's speculation as to Morrissey's height...Can you help here? Some say he's very tall, some claim he's 5'8" or 5'9"." and here's the reply I just received:

Thanks. I've always wondered that and never really got a definitive answer.

Seriously. He's not 6'. Maybe he's shrunk in latter years, but he's not 6' now.

Then again, Mike may have been fond of getting the tape measure out while Moz was asleep.
