As it's now become painfully apparent to me that most of the 'posters' on this board are, in fact, the same person & hardly anyone is who they pretend to be, It is with keen enthusiasm that I announce my departure from this Board.
As a young man, I don't recall ever dreaming that one day I would be sitting behind a computer, arguing with some terminally dull bint from Buttf*** Ohio, or reading the tedious & infantile boasting of an acne scarred f***wit, still leeching off his parents, while he retreats further into the computer based fantasy world, where he is attractive to women & significant outside the confines of the stale tissue strewn pigsty he calls home.
Having read several posts one night from, what I believed at the time to be, a genuinely distressed individual who was threatening to take 'her' own life, I needn't pretend anymore that I don't feel incredibly foolish about the fact that I was completely taken in, to the point of writing a heartfelt post, urging 'her' to not do anything rash, & even going as far as to reveal how devastated I was when my friend took his own life, in an attempt to get through to 'her'.
To me, it was just the humane & decent thing to do, & when 'others' posted saying they respected what I had done, I was slightly embarrassed, as I felt it was between me & the 'girl' I'd spoken to.
Of course, I now know that all these 'people', the 'girl' & the subsequent posters, are one & the same.
This is not paranoia, the moderators told me that one person is behind all these different characters, as the posts all come from the same IP address.
As well as being interested in all things Morrissey related, I also enjoyed many of the posts on here for their sincerity or their good humour.
As I'm not a paranoid individual & tend to take people on face value, I also like to feel I can trust that people are who they say they are, which, unfortunately, is no longer the case.
In conclusion, I'm not bitter. Recently, I have even enjoyed & appreciated the delicate ballet & the subtle interchange of characters performed by our Irish friend & his cast of thousands.
It's mainly the vulgar, crude &, above all, mind numbingly tedious Americans, with one or two notable exceptions of course, that I can no longer tolerate & neither would I wish to.
Goodnight, and Thank You.
