RESIGNATION SPEECH FROM FREEYOURSELF

As it's now become painfully apparent to me that most of the 'posters' on this board are, in fact, the same person & hardly anyone is who they pretend to be, It is with keen enthusiasm that I announce my departure from this Board.

As a young man, I don't recall ever dreaming that one day I would be sitting behind a computer, arguing with some terminally dull bint from Buttf*** Ohio, or reading the tedious & infantile boasting of an acne scarred f***wit, still leeching off his parents, while he retreats further into the computer based fantasy world, where he is attractive to women & significant outside the confines of the stale tissue strewn pigsty he calls home.

Having read several posts one night from, what I believed at the time to be, a genuinely distressed individual who was threatening to take 'her' own life, I needn't pretend anymore that I don't feel incredibly foolish about the fact that I was completely taken in, to the point of writing a heartfelt post, urging 'her' to not do anything rash, & even going as far as to reveal how devastated I was when my friend took his own life, in an attempt to get through to 'her'.

To me, it was just the humane & decent thing to do, & when 'others' posted saying they respected what I had done, I was slightly embarrassed, as I felt it was between me & the 'girl' I'd spoken to.

Of course, I now know that all these 'people', the 'girl' & the subsequent posters, are one & the same.

This is not paranoia, the moderators told me that one person is behind all these different characters, as the posts all come from the same IP address.

As well as being interested in all things Morrissey related, I also enjoyed many of the posts on here for their sincerity or their good humour.
As I'm not a paranoid individual & tend to take people on face value, I also like to feel I can trust that people are who they say they are, which, unfortunately, is no longer the case.

In conclusion, I'm not bitter. Recently, I have even enjoyed & appreciated the delicate ballet & the subtle interchange of characters performed by our Irish friend & his cast of thousands.

It's mainly the vulgar, crude &, above all, mind numbingly tedious Americans, with one or two notable exceptions of course, that I can no longer tolerate & neither would I wish to.

Goodnight, and Thank You.

Freeyourself, as one of the "people" who responded to you on that post, I can assure you that I am NONE of the other people...I can also assure you that Mr. Smith and Domestos Salad are indeed real individuals...with very seperate IP adresses. I don't know what the mods have been telling you, but I know that at least this much I've said is true. This board will be utter crap without you.

>Freeyourself I can assure you I was being genuine the night I posted about feeling desperate.
The people who replied to your supportive post, were certainly not me and I've just seen Sheelagh's reply above. There were all different persons.

Don't go away. PLEASE.

Freeyourself. I am myself also, not Domestos Salad, Mr Smith or A Girl.

i don't normally post crap like this-BUT-since you are on your way out. That is possibly the most pathetic photo i have ever seen. really, it is very sad. I swear to you without that gay photo i would have been behind you 100%. in fact, i liked what you wrote. But jesus man!! you can go off on how people are f***wits or americans are dumb and post that pic!! Really, look at it objectively. It is likely the most intentionally homo-erotic and tasteless photo i will ever see with my eyes. sorry.

It will be obvious to most long time Morrissey fans that freeyourself was deliberately mimicing this picture, with a subtle twist of course.
What will also be common knowledge to many on this site, as he made no secret of the fact , is that freeyourself is, in fact, gay.
I hope this picture doesn't put you off Morrissey or his music, even though he looks a little "gay" in it.
Morrissey uses lots of different imagery to accompany his work. Much of this you would probably consider "a bit gay". Indeed, Morrissey himself may well be gay.
Again, long time fans will know all this & it probably adds to his appeal, rather than detracts from it. If you only discovered Morrissey recently, after hearing that song about somebody in a gang dying, I suppose you can be excused for not knowing any of this.

The mods are wrong....we are all seperate people (I really f***in hope so any way). Some of us know each other therefore some posts may have come from the same address once in a while...e.g, when we are on the piss and decide to wind up RPR at 4 in the mornin, this does not mean we are all a hybrid of internet characters posting at various intervils depending on which medication has worn out at that particular time.
This isnt to stop you goin, sure you may not even read this but I thought the record should be put straight and point out that the mods detective work has in fact been more Columbo than Sherlock Holmes.
Still I can't blame you for goin but you will be missed, there was something comforting about the pure ball of pain and raw, phsycotic aggression you managed to put into words. My resignation letter is currently being drafted.
I only hope the real world is nice to you and you manage to stop listening to 'mother'.
Stay away from Pop-tarts.
