Request: Sheila Take A Bow poster

Spicer

Has Forgiven Jesus
I have been looking for a large poster of the "Sheila Take A Bow" cover - with Candy Darling. I know it exists, because there is a brief shot of it in the Rough Trade office in the Smiths South Bank Show!

However all I ever seem to see on eBay are either A3 or A4 posters, which a) don't do it any justice, and b) aren't big enough for my liking!

Any ideas on where else I could find one - will I have to resort to taking a picture to a printing place and getting them to print me a one-off?!

Keep an eye out on ebay. You missed this a couple of days ago - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THE-SMITHS-SH...ryZ68076QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If the record is a 12" then the poster is larger than the usual 12x24 posters.
Is this what you are looking for?

The Official Rough Trade Promo Posters Came In 2 Sizes
12"x24"
60"x40"

The One On E Bay A Couple Of Days Ago Was A Reprint (guessing By The Size Of It)

The official promo big subway posters should have wording to the effect of "Capitol Print & Display Ltd" or "Capitol Studios" on the bottom.

This information is good to know but in this case I really don't mind if it's an original or a re-print at all, as long as it looks nice. I just really like that photo.

It does exsist. I have one and it's enormous. I'll be keeping it but maybe http://www.morrisseymadness.co.uk/posters.htm can help. Goodness, it's £70. That's a lot. Good luck.
Goodness indeed! Well I've bookmarked that site, I might be feeling a bit spendy one day soon and treat myself.

Thanks everyone!
