Gustavo singing the end of Speedway in Spanish was amusing maybe for the first couple of times it was played in Mexico, and appropriate for that audience - but there is no reason to do it elsewhere round the world, for a full year. The song builds up to this great crescendo...and suddenly Moz is gone, Gustavo is there, and it's the biggest anti-climax ever.

It'd be like a Smiths reunion gig, where they build up to those soaring vocals at the end of 'I Know It's Over', only for Mike Joyce to emerge from the drumkit and sing the last section. Who would get off on that? No f***er.
Be interesting if Boz took the mic, with Morrissey moving to drums

There were exactly four people let in on the guest list. The VIP thing was a separate deal the venue offered for $25 to get you into the lobby 15 minutes before doors. They offered it irregardless of the line that had started the night before (and I was part of) and one of the employees was downright hostile about the line overall. I still ended up down front but there were people who strolled in at 7:30 and got in front of us anyway.

Good show overall. I love one of our own so glad to hear that again. Met Boz and Gustavo who were both kind and good to fans.
So some venues r still offering special opportunities? I remember House of Blues doing that.

I think Gustavo is amazing and he is certainly the busiest on stage. I like that they all have a bit of fun with Speedway - it's not just him.

Yeah and I'm sure after playing a song for twenty years it gets old not matter how much you like it. I saw Dylan like five years ago maybe and not one song old or new was how it was played on record. That's just how it goes

Don't you know Moz is there while Guatavo is singing and he's thinking 'what other songs can i get him to sing so i can get paid a fortune for doing less?'.

Bitching about Trump whilst including a song in the same setlist that encourages people not to vote is just about the daftest thing I've ever heard.

That song is not encouraging people not to vote.
It states if you do you are supporting the process.

But if you have a legal right to vote, you can use it, or not.
Supporting the process or not supporting the process.

In any case, make up your own mind. You don't have to follow up on everything Moz says. He is an artist with an opinion. Not God. For Christ sake.
Can't believe you would be dissapointed at that.

Its not the crowd's job to make the band happy. It's the band's job to make the crowd happy. Moz probably does think he's doing everyone a favour by even being on stage but he wouldn't be anywhere without the paying audience.
I was very happy with the show and it seems the other hardcore fans at the show were happy as well. At this point, you should know what you're getting into with a Morrissey gig. People either love him or hate him at this point, there's no in between.

A lot of the people I saw leave are the ones that seem to be the super casual casino crowd. At least stand up during some of the show. If I was playing I wouldn't want to cater to that sort of audience anyway. Especially 35 years into my music career. At that point no sh!ts should be given.
