My first Morrissey live experience and it was amazing! I travelled down with some of my family from Oregon and it was well worth it. Moz was in great form vocal wise and seemingly energetic. Plenty of people in the front who gave him gifts or had something for him to sign. Lots of people attempted to climb on stage but of course to no avail. Nonetheless Moz was shaking plenty of hands near the front.

Unfortunately have the crowd was pretty lame and not very enthusiastic aside from the hits. I saw tons of people leave during the show especially after anti-Trump comments and songs like Bullfighter Dies and Meat Is Murder. Maybe it was just coincidence. Moz also told someone to shut up in the crowd, don't know what that was about. Morrissey told the crowd near the end they had made the band happy, so all seemed well.

It seemed to feature a bit more songs in the set list than usual but maybe I was just imagining it. Started with Trump-Shifters and ended with What She Said with Judy Is a Punk as an encore as usual, everything in between on my posted set list is jumbled so hopefully someone can post the correct order.

Good show, Moz was spunky. The set list has progressed nicely through this tour, more energetic now. Pit was packed and bouncing; my wife and I were seated 2nd rie from pit and it was pretty mellow, except for us of course!!

Glad we made the trek from SO Cal, Moz in fine form but crowd kinda blah~

No one seemed intrested in his meat is murder propaganda. So the show went so so.. I think a half the crowd was populated by casino comps...

What a pitty ! He should have delivered his "farmer" anecdote beforehand its absolutely hilarious especially when he slyly forgets to mention the farmer keeps milking the cow to produce his favourite Dubliner Kerrygold cheese ! (Oops )
:rofl:Silly Steven !

Because ! Because we must !

The show was good from where we were standing, in front of the pit. Morrissey's voice was very good and he talked a lot to the audience about how we're screwed because of Trump, which I agree with. One general request, if you're "claustrophobic" or don't want to be squished, don't stand in the front of the pit, obviously. If you can't hack it, stand in the f***ing back. Also, I hated the end of Speedway. What is the deal? I don't get it.
Also he didn't do the shirt toss, and even though we were standing in line for hours they let a bunch of "VIPs" in before everyone else so they got to go in front first. That's messed up.

Yes, no more Gustavo! No offense G.
Thankfully it was unmolested when he played it at the first night in Irvine (though I was totally bracing myself for the "Ruined Version"). I Have endured the band swap/Spanish outro fiasco. Not a fan. Just think, there are people out there who's favorite song is Speedway, and who've maybe never seen Morrissey. They come to the show, perhaps traveling miles hoping to hear it, and get the ruined version.

Gustavo singing the end of Speedway in Spanish was amusing maybe for the first couple of times it was played in Mexico, and appropriate for that audience - but there is no reason to do it elsewhere round the world, for a full year. The song builds up to this great crescendo...and suddenly Moz is gone, Gustavo is there, and it's the biggest anti-climax ever.

It'd be like a Smiths reunion gig, where they build up to those soaring vocals at the end of 'I Know It's Over', only for Mike Joyce to emerge from the drumkit and sing the last section. Who would get off on that? No f***er.

You are aware this is standard for every single show right?
