Scarlet Ibis

The Chicken of D.C.
Let's make short lists of things we like, then, based on the lists, we'll recommend things to each other. Yes, yes??

My List:
- The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery
- antique cookbooks
- Vietnamese food
- orange blossom perfume
- Robots In Disguise

Any recommendations?

You could combine all your little pleasures by constructing a robot which disguises itself as a bin. In this bin, you could throw some old cookbooks, the remains of a chinese takeaway and an old orange peel.

You could then name this robot, "Le Petit Prince".

Essentially, what you will then have is a typical kitchen waste bin.

Soft, warm socks that make your feet feel like they're being cuddled

Snuggling up with a love-handled lover

The first home-grown tomato of the season, warm from the greenhouse

Is that your list or your recommendations for me?

If that is your list, I recommend:
- those slippers that are just thick socks with shoe soles on the bottom
- fantasizing about Morrissey
- slow grilling tomatoes out on the barbecue, with a pinch of sea salt and cracked pepper on each half

:D

After which, the natural progression must be...

A long, slow, sensual massage from the toes upwards

....followed by....

the first shag of the month

....followed by....

those grilled tomatoes in a good, thick butty, to keep your strength up. :)

You certainly know how to live, my dear.

1. Hugs from the one you love everyday

2. making your own soup

3. watching balck and white movies on a rainy day

4. strawberry, banana, & blueberry smoothies

5. visiting Scotland.

A good man and a greenhouse. That's the trick.:p

More reccies:

Pastis sipped through ice under the shade of a tree, in a French country garden while you read a good book (or write some smut!)

Marmosets. Just because.

Pastis?

Speaking of sipping, I wish I could share my iced tea with some Brits. You guys always grumble and make spitting noises whenever the subject comes up, but it's SO GOOD. You have to make it right though... Or else it's nasty. :[

I recommend:
1. kissing the one you love every day
2. adding pearl barley to your soup
3. watching Marx Brothers movies during any weather
4. strawberry & peach smoothies with almond milk and vanilla bean innards
5. visiting America

Ooh, lovely home made soup! Asda are selling butternut squashes for 50p each at the mo! I bought four. Soup-and-homebaked-bread-fest ahoy!

Or visit Yorkshire. The moors when the heather is in bloom. Beautiful. :)

The best-known pastis is Pernod. Aniseed, goes cloudy in water.

*cue typical British spit and grumble at the notion of iced tea*
