I gave IAMX a try and didn't care for it. D: BUT, you are the only one who seems go really get what's going on in here.

People are Unappealing by Sara Barron. Just got it from the new release shelf at the library and I haven't laughed out loud while reading a book in a long time. It's fantastic. It's like reading David Sedaris, but much less dryer.
