how the f#$k do i know soft lad:p

Love TB:sweet:

Ok, I was hoping somebody with a f***ing brain in their nut (clearly not mr. beast :D:p) could reply with some intelligent response.

Ok, beast...a question you may genuinely be able to help me out with. Do you know how easy it is to fake a COA? And, do real COAs have to come from specialists/ experts who can say if the item is real or not?

Love PTxx.

piss easy PT, despite what some know all off here may tell you. get a decent blagger and who's to say it's a riki lake? unless the artist or whoever did the signing came out and spoke otherwise, where's the proof?

I guess that is true, I don't that I am going to go for any of these items. I think the only way I shall truly know if a Morrissey signature is real is if the guy does a signed photo right in front of me.

Love PTxx.

spot on kid;) i've got a copy of the "smiths is dead" if that's any use to you;)

The single looks O.K but there is no real way of knowing unless it's signed in person.
Unfortunately Morrisseys signature is fairly easy to fake.
I certainly wouldn't buy an autograph off ebay in any case.

A certificate of authenticity for an autographed photograph? How odd. I wouldn't buy either of these items. They won't mean nearly as much as items he signed for you personally.

Both look real to me. First one is earlier, probably early '90s, second is more recent (obviously).

Exactly, I don't know why people bother to sell them as anything more than a normal vinyl. You could just as easily write it on yourself (if you wished).
As for it being a momento of meeting (well, finding) him, wouldn't you prefer a photograph, hug or handshake. :)

COA's aren't worth the paper they are written on, as some one has already said, the only way you will know if the signature is genuine is if you see the great man signing it yourself.

Here's something to think about, most signatures that appear on Ebay are usually on photos and other items that have very little value unsigned. No one is going to potentially de-value a copy of Hand In Glove - Negative sleeve by defacing it with fake signatures.

I have no idea if the ones you are looking at are genuine, I personally would be very wary.
