Ronald McReagan was a very unifyin' guy,
but also a very dividin' guy.
Politics aside, one thing I kinda been noticin'
about Ron R, is that the guy loved comedy.
This here thread will explore his relationship
with comedy.

Recently seen Rodney Dangerfield performin' on a
NBC special called "The Stars Salute The President".
Rodney is in top form, deliverin' some of his best jokes.
Ronald Reagan seems to genuinely be havin' the time
of his life.

turned Reagan Republican, who insisted to the
White House staff that Don Rickles perform at
the 2nd inauguration of Ronald McReagan.
As Don fondly remembered, "Frank told them,

Don would later call it a highlight of his career.
The hesitation of the White House staff was not
shared by President Reagan, who was laughin' all

formation of Ronald McReagan.
1. Ronald Reagan's use of comedy to escape
painful events from his childhood.
2. The sugar rushes and sugar crashes of
his jelly bean addiction.
3. His love of clowns.
4. A psychotic break on a Presidential visit
to Grenada.

It began when furniture around the White House
was bein' moved durin' the night. The Secret Service
were alarmed that someone had evaded their security.
When a special unit was formed to investigate the
incident, Ronald McReagan was first discovered.

On retreats to Camp David, Ronald McReagan was at
his happiest. He could be seen frolickin' through the
woods in full make-up. He would dance in the moonlight and
sing some of his favorite old time tunes, such as "Buttons And
Bows", "A Tiskit A Tasket" and "I Want A Gal Just Like The Gal
Who Married Dear Old Dad".

there weren't a indication if Ronald Reagan had
ever tried or was even familiar with wine gums.
