The news of the new record reminded me that it's now been twenty years since I swore I'd never buy another Morrissey album. Since then, my resolve has proved weaker than the protagonist in the Hand The Rocks The Cradle and I know that, however hard to get I play, I'll end up getting the new one on green vinyl.
You may have guessed from the folder I've chosen, that this is a plug. A few years back, to coincide with the release of WPINOYB, I published a book drawn from my experiences as a recovering Morrissey fan. I don't give it a lot of thought these days, but all this talk of a new album has reminded me of its existence.
