Has anyone got the version of Waterloo sunset that Ray Davies did for a channel 4 programme The white room in the 90s,it was given away on a free tape?
Its a wonderful version of a wonderful song so if anyone has it and can upload it,i would be so grateful.

Just saw him do a new tune on David Letterman --- Ray STILL sounds great!

Ray Davies 'new' album (well, not that new but it came out at the end of 2007) is pretty good.

It's called 'Working Man's Cafe' and while its not up there with his greatest Kinks material its certainly better than about 95% of the indie bullshit that gets hyped to the heavens!

its on youtube, they end waterloo with a excerpt from parklife acoustic. maybe you could rip it from there rather than the now impossible to find tapes.
