But if you have a tradition that assigns a nightmare of a life to people based on birth, isn't that a tradition you'd want to end? I mean, it was traditional for a long time to sentence homosexuals to hard labor in prison, but you put an end to that some point, so I'm not sure why something has to remain hallowed just because of tradition.
