I heard about that some time ago. He was labelled by authorities and media as a nutcase, a freak and all the scientific evidence was missing, hmm.
At the moment I am interested in an atombomb scandal here in Holland.
In the seventies a Dutch engineer working for Urenco at a nuclear reactorplant in Almelo warned his boss about a foreign engineer from Pakistan. He said the man could not be trusted and he delivered evidence. Papers and all sort of other proof. He was fired and was told to keep his mouth shut. He was threatened by people and he was very scared. That man from Pakistan returned to his country and was welcomed with very much honour by the Pakistani and treated as the greatest hero. His name is Khan. In the years after that he became an even greater hero cause suddenly Pakistan had the atombomb. It was made at a plant completely designed by him and according the knowledge he had taken with him.
It is said that the basis of the knowledge used for the North Korean atomic power is coming from him and he was well payed for it.
Not so long ago the Dutch government decided to create a so-called wisselblower law.
Anyone who knew about fraude, things that were wrong in government or companies working for government, and reported it to their managers discretely, has now a better position as a witness.
So now, after all these years this man has made a statement and is asking for damage payments cause after he was fired he never got a job anymore in his field of expertise and he is saying that all companies where he applied for a job were secretly instructed to reject him. I don't know exactly what he did after that.
Can you imagine, Pakistan and North Korea threatening with their atomic weapons and a great danger for the world, all because Dutch government did not believe him or there was something else going on.
This is about money, great amounts. There were more people who knew and they were payed to keep their mouth shut.
I am one of those that do not believe nuclear bombs exist and urge any doubters to study why some of us are sure they don't. When I studied and had a summer job at a nuclear plant I used to spend night shifts reading reports from all over the world about nuclear plant incidents and when students from Manchester University visited us this student asked me about what we do with the plutonium and was absolutely shocked to hear we ship it abroad to be stored.
