please tell me its the t.v. speakers that are broken and not my wptmim dvd

i still havent watched the whole thing through yet, but i saw it at the screening and i watched all the extra move footage, so im pretty sure i know how its supposed to sound.

anyway, im dog sitting for my aunt and uncle all weekend. figured since im all by myself it would be a good opportunity to watch the whole dvd straight through. so i put it in, and for some reason, i cant hear any of alain's guitar parts. im assuming this is some sort of problem relating to the t.v. in their house, but i know that lots of people have been having trouble with their dvds. has anyone experieced sound problems such as this one?
