I once worked with an Irish lady, herself and her brother were brought up (dragged up) in one of those Irish children’s homes.
The abuse they both suffered was absolutely horrific, it never left her, and she’s never seen her brother since.

"I Thought You Were Dead" is one of my favourite Morrissey songs in the last 20 years and I'm stunned at some people giving it such a low rating. For me, it has everything you could possibly want in a Morrissey song.

I’m always surprised that “ hurling days” seems to be a big fan fave
It’s never done anything for me, that said, it went up ever so slightly in my humble estimation when I seen him sing it at Blackpool and Doncaster.

To be fair, I think that’s an excellent top-10.
I like all those songs. Good to see 2-6 are very recent songs.
