lg it was the only time he ever did that song as a solo artist. i love listening to it. the screaming from the crowd is insane. it nearly brings me to tears.

Yeah, breathtakingly beautiful! I just listened to it, his singing did really improve with the years (not saying he didn't sing well in The Smiths, but I like his voice better now).

I'm not a bootleg collector, but I have a few good live versions.

You should have been there (Phoenix 2002). As soon as I heard "Good times for a change..." I nearly cried myself. I was in awe! God, I get chills remembering how I felt listening to that live!
