The Pirate Party is now officially recognized as a party.
It's kind of a silly name but the seem to have some good ideas.

I like specifically the desire to get rid of a lot of the surveillance that goes on.

In Japan a dubious political party formed by a religious organisation called Actualisation of Happiness party.

Pirate Party sounds OK to me.

I am impressed by how they have turned this into a political issue, but not entirely convinced.
