and with the other one your friendship might have ended on tears after you had devoted yourself to her despite her numerous suicide attempts following a miscarriage and you blame yourself constantly for everything even though you know its not your fault still it eats you up inside and....

i'm becoming celibate i think, not that I get too many offers anyway

been there, done that. not to say that your suffering isn't real and sucky, but i've had really similar things happen to me -- except for the miscarriage stuff. i'm sorry. don't give up hope. being celibate isn't that fun -- even though i don't much know what the alternative is like!
