People who pay for sex are lazy. With the same amount of money you could chat up any girl at any bar, buy her drinks all night and have an excellent chance of slapping skins with her that very night.

Well that loser guy lives at home with his mom, dad and sister. He's never had a girlfriend has always paid for it.

and they sell drugs that can help you with that and they cost less than a street-walking ho.

On the downside, that's just as illegal and probably more morally reprehensible than the easy way.

I disagree to an alrmingly high degree.

You've all probably sussed my situation on this topic from various other threads. As for the question of is it right or wrong, the answer isn't as easy as that. Sometimes it's obviously wrong - most times probably it is wrong. But what's the solution?

I don't have a problem with it. I think it should be legalised and controlled much like in other European countries. Mainly because it would protect the people who do it from attack etc.

I agree. Moral issue aside for a moment, as a business, making this service "legit" and under state regulation would ease some community problems and in the long run, generate a little extra revenue.

There is this show on cable that documented the brothel business in one Nevada town. Facinating stuff. The owner used alot of his sales/management training knowledge and applied it to his establishment. He conducts "sales/motivation" meetings, and even has vendors come by selling costumes and toys to his staff.

What I found amazing was the clientel; they cater to men, women and couples. I don't think too many do that. The patrons seem like average people that come for different reasons. Fathers come by with their sons, married couples looking to give a "gift" to themselves or their partner. One woman I would say in her sixties on the advise of her sick husband, who was no longer able to perform and he didn't want her to look for another man.

The show is called "Cathouse" and is appears periodically on Home Box Office. No, I don't work at HBO; or for the Cathouse.

Wrong. A majority won't sell it because they want to but because they're more or less forced to. Trafficking and pimping (I'm to lazy to look in the dictionary for the proper word) should be a high priority within the police.

Great show. The sequel is called "Free Clinic".

A guy pays for it everytime he buys her dinner without reciprocation or gets her that tennis bracelet she wanted and gets a 'reward' for his kindness. We all pay for it, so there is nothing wrong with entering into the agreement with cash in place of a nice dinner or gift.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

What a romantic outlook on life.

Wrong. From personal experience, a lot find it an easy way to make money and regard it as much like a job as I do with mine. Some days are interesting, some aren't. Most men would stay WELL clear of the pimp controlled workers and go for independants - who actually want to do what they're doing.

The vast majority of people who exchange money for sex are not desperate losers who can't get sex without paying for it.
They are everyday people... from office workers and manual labourers, to Policemen and High Court Judges. They visit prostitutes/escorts etc for the thrill, just as Hugh Grant did with Divine Brown.
There will always be Men who fancy a quickie 'round the back of the skip in a Matalan car park, or want a whack on the arse with a pair of kippers on their lunch break... ;)
There will also always be Women who want a Male 'escort' for the night too.

Each to their own.

In honor of your avatar:

love I get so lost, sometimes
days pass and this emptiness fills my heart
when I want to run away
I drive off in my car
but whichever way I go
I come back to the place you are

The local brothel, a better rate of return
though my poisoned member, so soon will burn
with all your toys, my leather bride
I take you from the backside

in your thighs
the bite, the seat
in your thighs
I am complete
in your thighs
I smell the musk of a thousand lurches
in your thighs
the trackmarks of other boys' searches
in your thighs
the cellulite, the bleat
in your eyes
oh, I want to be your number one John
I want to use my whore
And head on out the door

Madame, I don't like to see so many paying
so many dudes and her grip keeps slipping away
I get so tired of working so hard for the love reaction
I look at you as an easy transaction

Faithful whores, a better rate of return
though my poisoned member, so soon will burn
with all your toys, my leather bride
I take you from the backside

in your thighs
the bite, the seat
in your thighs
I am complete
in your thighs
I smell the musk of a thousand lurches

:)

I don't know why everyone confuses you with Morrissey, Worm, when it's obvious that you're really Weird Al Yankovic.
