I've been championing this album for a while now. It was released just a couple weeks ago stateside and I just discovered that it's finally up at AllMusic (although there's no review yet). However, the list of artists similar to Patrick includes Morrissey. Yeehaw! They definitely have some things in common lyrically and thematically. Patrick is a true popstar in the making. He's also insanely talented and inventive.

Check out Ambitious-Outsiders for an excerpt from a review (by yours truly) and also for info about Patrick's L.A. show. His official site PatrickWolf.com has the full details of his tour.

UK people, you've had this album for a while now. Would any of you back me up on this?

Patrick is great...

He's playing 2 shows in New York on May 5th at Mercury Lounge and May 6th at Pianos... Also... there may be a free performance on May 4th in Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Station 42nd Street Between Lexington and Madison Avenues. I work for a record store in Grand Central and we're trying to work out a free performance... It may fall through, but if not... here's a great and FREE chance to see him perform.

Check this site for more info and I'll repost here when I learn when and IF it happens. Keep your fingers crossed!

It would be part of the Spring Fair they have running.

Let's hope.

Is he gay?

No but it would be nice if he was.

He's married. Sorry. I'm sad too. I knew he'd either be married or gay.

Hey James from NY! Glad to hear from another American fan!

I know I'm doing my part to convert people. Glad to see you are too!

Well, I do what I can.

Patrick deserves more fans.

He totally does. I even reviewed his album for the school magazine I helped found. It's totally obscure and it makes me look pretentious, but I want him to be famous.
