Not soon enough! What a waste of space.

Please, please, don't let those thickos come here.
Please!!!!
Especially that pompous git with his picture up smoking a cigar or something, pretending to be Noel Coward. I think?

Oh, was that his name.
Suits him fine.

No, thats something that Noel once said.

Oh, sorry I was never that much into Noel.
Did he write Brief Encounter?

Indeed he did, and The happy breed. Some people say he was way ahead of his time. I'm not sure.

That place was enough to make one sterile.

I agree, we dont want any thickos coming onto this site and ruining the intelligent and intellectual postings on Mozsolo. I dread to think what levels this site will be dragged down too.....

I did enjoy Brief Encounter.

Very, very sad.

He was a little too "posh" though in his outlook on the English.
Wouldn't you agree?
Then again ,it was an entirely different age.
I can see his genius though.
Oh and the eccentricity helped, no doubt.

Extra points awarded for talking about it in the past tense, and Happy Birthday from Orville Redenbacher!

Although he nicked Joe Cockers album title "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" Ha!

No doubt you had to be posh to be in his line of work back then. I think he was born in the 1800's! He looks quite eccentric in photos, have'nt read many interviews or any biogs.

My Grandma just about made the 1800's, born in 1899 and lived to be 100 would you believe.

Yes, he must have been born in the 1800's as his fame seemed to be in the 20's and 30's, so I presume he was born at the latter end of the century.

I have always meant to read his work as he is one of the "old nutty Englishmen".

With a great sense of wit and dressing-gown.

Thanks for reminding me. I shall investigate further.
The biography is well worth looking up, I should imagine.

There was someone famous at the time (male) of course, he was meant to have had an affair with. I can't for the life of me remember who it was though.
Do you remember?

Oh ha ha ha ha.

At least us "thickos" don't post about, "what is in your fridge today",
"do you think Morrissey prefers the colour blue or red", "I dreamt this last night, what did you dream", "Do you think Morrissey wears underpants"

Come on now Goat.

We have come close to declaring World War 3 on here.

Could they cope?

And for the record, the once or twice I did try and pay a visit.
Without a compass it was extremely difficult.
Have you seen the layout?
Anyway, the overwhelmingly majority are obviously American.
I really think that says it all.

Re: 'Dont let those thickos come over here'

I can only add I honestly have not been on the site other than when the album came out last year and for tour news, never for the messageboards.
What is in your fridge anyway?
I have a few salady bits, marg, milk and of course a few beers.

My fridge contains nothing but "samples".

You know the ones.

Must be kept 15 degrees below zero.

I think ahead you see, on matters of "how to put one's fridge to the best possible use"

I picked up a leaflet at the Electric Board.

Absolutely no room for your trivialities.
